Training and Development

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
Oscar Wilde

You owe it to yourself to be the very best you can be.

While it may be important not to ‘judge a book by its cover’, how do other people perceive you? What impression do you give your audience and how effectively do you communicate with them?

The impact you make is a direct result of one simple truth – The Human Element. You possess this, but do not always allow yourself to display it. This entails having the confidence to display your complete personality in order to make an emotional connection.  Too often you may be fearful; nervous of looking stupid and therefore fail to communicate your message in the way you intend or make the positive impression you would like.

In essence, it is not so much what you say as how you say it. Your personal presence is the experience that people have of you and the memory they will take away.

I found the course surprisingly enjoyable. Before attending, I was worried about the filming part of the course as I don’t like watching myself back. However, I found this to be invaluable and discovered that I am actually better at presenting than I thought. It was also surprising how much better my second presentation was from the excellent advice and guidance received. The course also gave really good tips on how to overcome fear when speaking in public. I would recommend this course to any of my colleagues who want to build confidence when speaking in front of a large group of people or delivering presentations.
